May 2012, NaviWorld Vietnam (*) and Ocean Retail officially signed economics contract of system implementation and consulting services for nationwide supermarket chain under the brand name of Ocean Mart. The system is built on Microsoft Dynamics NAV and LS Retail, the leading business management solution for retail industry. Project success will enable Ocean Mart to be the leading retailer in the market with advanced technology, providing quick responses to customers and optimizing the whole company business processes.

As an affiliated company of Ocean Group, Ocean Retail has engaged in the retail market since 2011. The Firm plans to open and operate from 70 to 80 retail stores nationwide. With many advantages in this business, Ocean Retail defines the goal of the leading retailer in the country, and initially looked for an advanced and integrated retail solution which is following international standards of retail management. The solution must have capabilities to support efficiently the Ocean Retail in internal performance management and compliance with local laws and regulations.

During Vietnamese traditional lunar New Year holiday of 2013, NaviWorld Vietnam and Ocean Retail has successfully launchedlaunched the system for the two supermarkets in Xala urban area and Thang Long international village, namely Ha Dong Ocean Mart and Thang Long Ocean Mart. These supermarkets, offering over 20,000 types of goods including clean foods and vegetables, a modern shopping lifestyle with convenient payment methods, have received attentions from the public and inceasingly becoming a favourite shopping place in Hanoi.

On July 26, 2013, the third one of the Ocean Mart supermarket chain – Thanh Xuan Ocean Mart is officially opening. This is the largest one in three established Ocean Mart supermarkets, and located in the commercial center of Royal City Vincom Mega Mall. Thanh Xuan Ocean Mart is placed in the 2^nd basement of Royal City commercial complex, with an area of ​​approximately 10,000 m2 providing more than 30,000 types of goods, so satisfies the customers’ shopping demands.

In order to prepare for this important opening, project team of both Naviworld Vietnam and Ocean Retail are working promptly to complete the system to welcome the first guests in opening day.
